AG & ENERGY RESEARCH CENTER FIELD DAY

Join Central Lakes College for the 2026 Ag & Energy Research Center Field Day on Friday, August 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Staples. This free, family-friendly event features agricultural research presentations, drone technology demonstrations, edible bean production insights, garden tours, precision irrigation topics, hands-on Children’s Garden activities, tractor and combine ride-n-drive opportunities, agricultural vendors, and refreshments. Guests can also celebrate the ribbon-cutting of the new Legacy Ag Trail, enjoy a free lunch with keynote speaker Kurt Blomgren of the Minnesota Farm Service Agency, and wrap up the day with a free ice cream social and live Scandinavian violin music in the Living Legacy Gardens.
