Julie Johnson Flute Looping Concert

Julie Johnson performs original arrangements of folk songs from around the world on amplified flute, bass flute, and live looping and effects pedals.  Using extended techniques and incorporating technology typically associated with electric guitar, she performs arrangements that sound like an orchestra of instruments (percussion, electric guitar, bass, plucked strings, woodwinds), including holiday music. For all ages. This program was made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota's Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment.
